What do you do when a situation is hopeless? In Mark 5:21-43 hopeless people found hope. A father whose daughter had died, and a lady with bleeding that was not cured by the medical care in her day, were at the end of human options. In fact, people around them tried to keep Jesus from helping and even laughed at the mention of Jesus' intervention. However, when human resources are at an end, Jesus is just beginning. The faith of this woman, and the faith of the father of the deceased girl, was immeasurable. We may also boldly approach God with our requests knowing that He is a loving father. God knows our circumstances. But never forget that healing strength is not in "our faith." It is our faith in the power of Jesus. He is our Maker, our Master and our Redeemer. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

Community
Learn, grow, and do life together
We prioritize building strong relationships and fostering a supportive community. By learning, growing, and doing life together, we can encourage and inspire one another to live lives of love and service. Our focus on community is rooted in the belief that encouraging one another leads to a more fulfilling and impactful Christian life.
Small groups
A space for us to share our experiences, joys, and challenges. Small groups foster a sense of belonging and support, creating a strong community where we can encourage, pray for, and grow with one another.
Connect events
Casual gatherings designed to foster a sense of community. These fun and relaxed events are a great way to meet new people, strengthen existing relationships, and build a supportive community.
Next steps
A foundational course designed to introduce new members or visitors to our beliefs, practices, and community. The goal is to provide a clear understanding of who we are, what we offer, and how people can become more involved.
Discipleship
Know Jesus and become more like Him
Discipleship at Canvas Church is a journey of deepening our relationship with God and growing into the likeness of Jesus. Through intentional community and biblical teaching, we are empowered to know God more intimately and live out His love in our daily life. As we become more like Jesus, we are equipped to disciple others and make a lasting impact on our world.
Sunday services
A gathering of believers that come together to worship God, learn from His Word, and connect with one another. It serves as a cornerstone of discipleship, providing a vital space for spiritual growth, development, and a sense of belonging within the body of Christ.
Worship nights
A special opportunity to praise and glorify God through music and prayer. These gatherings provide an opportunity for a deeper connection with God and our church family. By focusing on His presence, cultivating a sense of awe and reverence, and connecting with Him, we can grow as a disciple and experience a spiritual transformation.
Service
Living out faith through action
Our service is a tangible expression of our faith. It connects us to God and our community. By serving each other and loving one another, we follow Jesus' example and make a positive impact on our community and the world. It's a way for us to grow spiritually, connect with others, and live out the teachings of Christ.
Serve teams
Individuals who volunteer their time and talents to serve each other and the wider community. These teams reach out to those in need, foster spiritual growth, and build lasting relationships. Through their service, these teams make a significant difference in the lives of those around them.
Serve days
Special events where our church comes together to serve the community. These days are an opportunity for us to put our faith into action, connect with our church community, and make a difference in the lives of others. Serve days remind us that our faith should be lived out in service to others.
Giving
A form of generosity motivated by a desire to serve God and others. It involves giving freely and joyfully as we demonstrate our love for God and our commitment to serving others. It is a way for us to live out our faith in a tangible and meaningful way.
