Vision Sunday: Know God and Become Like Him

God wants to talk with His children so that they may know Him. God may talk to us directly as He did to Moses and Abraham. God may talk through prophets with dreams and visions. God may talk through his Holy Word. However, God is not just talking to us, He also wants to hear from us through our prayers. Because God wanted a relationship with us, He took the first step and sent his Son to earth. As we walk and talk with Jesus, we will discover that we like what He likes; hate what He hates; love as He loves. We will be transformed into His image. Our prayer, “Lord, talk to me, show me your ways so that I may know you and become like you.“ Amen
