Romans 12

July 21, 2024 | Romans

In Romans 12: 1-2 the Apostle Paul appeals to fellow Christians that both our bodies and our minds must be holy and acceptable to God. Our bodies are to be “a living sacrifice” and our minds transformed out of common culture and into God's Truth, His Word and Holy Spirit. Paul recognized that worldly pursuits are empty and will pass away. Paul recognized that worldly pursuits do not bring the Joy of the Lord. As we are being transformed by the mercy of God into His perfect plan for us, we will then begin to shape the world around us. We will shape the world into God's Truth rather than the world shaping us into its truth.
