Love and Faithful

In Romans 8:38-39 the Apostle Paul glorifies God's love and faithfulness to His creation-us! “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord”. From early in Genesis to the Book of Revelation, God self-discloses His love and faithfulness towards us. How do we know God loves us? Because He sent Jesus to die for us to reconcile our rebellion towards God. We do not have to climb up to God. He took the first step towards us. God's love is about who He is, not who we are. His word is true and we can rest in the security of His faithfulness. We are not secure in our faithfulness towards God, but we are secure in His faithfulness. Therefore, in our hardships and challenges we know that a faithful and loving God is committed to you and me. Praise be to God!
