Word, Worship, and Repentance

After the walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt, the people of Jerusalem recognized God's blessing and they came together to hear Ezra read God's Word. God's Word is meant to lead us to the worship of God, which is what happened in Nehemiah Chapters 8 & 9. The people confessed their sins and praised God. Our lives should also have this longing to know God through His Word and daily communion with Him. We are to unite as a church community to experience the beauty of who God is and the blessings that He showers on us. Let us lift God up and worship Him well!
