The King has Come

God saw our need. He saw that we were lost in sin and darkness. So, in His mercy, He sent the Light into a dark world. He sent His Son, Jesus, so that we would not be alone. Luke 2:10 says “But an angel said to them 'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all people.'” This Christmas we need a renewed sense of needing a savior, followed by a heart of gratitude to Jesus for rescuing us. We need to submit to the invitation to know Jesus as both Savior and King. We are safe in the arms of God because of Jesus' light, a light that we must pass on to others.
