Better in Suffering

March 3, 2024 | Romans

Where is God during our suffering? How do we not only survive our suffering but thrive in the midst of it? These questions challenge the very core of our faith in God. We need to remember that God uses all situations, including our suffering, for the goodness of His Kingdom. In fact, the greatest evil in history, the murder of Jesus on the cross, was used by God for the greatest act of love in history—our salvation. In the midst of our suffering we go to God and ask for the strength of character to persevere through the pain; to have the relationship with Jesus allowing us to say “God, I trust You. You are working all things for good.” In hope, we look to The Cross, remembering what Jesus has paid for and know that God, in His time, will bring something beautiful out of our suffering.
