You Need God

Pride. Since The Fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, we want to run our own lives. We want to exalt ourselves which leads us to look down upon others. We make ourselves the center of our universe, ignoring God. This type of pride is at the root of all sin.

We are called to see ourselves in God's light, as He sees us. God is Holy and we are not. We need to acknowledge our pride, face our failures, humble ourselves and trust in God. Only God can lift us up to become who He has called us to be, a person created in His image!
