What would the world be like if we honored every person like a celebrity? In Romans 12:9-10 Paul instructs us to honor other people above ourselves. This starts with honoring God by reading His Holy Word, lifting His Holy Name and acknowledging Him with everything we do. We will then recognize that other people (parents, spouse, authority figures, church leaders) are made in the image of God. The upcoming holidays give us the opportunity to honor undeserving people in our lives just as God honors us in our shortcomings.
