Faith, Love, and Obedience

Canvas Church is beginning a study of the Letter to the Romans written by the Apostle Paul. Before Paul's encounter with the risen, ascended Jesus he saw Christianity as a threat to his Jewish religion and way of life. After meeting Jesus, Paul describes himself in Romans 1:1 as a “servant of Christ Jesus”. Our guiding principle is to also be servants of Christ through:

1. Faith that God is who He says He is and that He will do what He says He will do
2. Loving God by hearing and keeping His commandments
3. Obedience to God, His Word and to His Holy Spirit
